What's On Your Thankgiving Menu?

I'm wondering what you're having for Thanksgiving dinner?

Are you:

A. Cooking a traditional dinner with Turkey, dressing and all the trimmings?

B. Cooking something out of the ordinary, unconventional, crazy...tacos, lasagna, meatloaf?

C. Not cooking...You're eating out or someone else does the cooking

D. Haven't got a clue...it's way to early to be thinking about Thanksgiving!

Our family is having a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. We've assigned drinks, desserts, and the side dishes to various people. We are going to add a kid friendly dish, macaroni and cheese for those who are picky eaters. I have enjoyed looking at your blog through James Welch. It has been fun to follow your family even though I do not know you. You have inspired me to be a part of Thankful Thursdays. It is good to see the blessings around us that sometimes get overlooked when we have bumps in the road. I just haven't figured out how to transfer the button. I am slowly figuring our all these things and will eventually get there. Bro. James and Sandy are my pastor and family. Thank you for sharing your testimony and life. Mary Amon

Hi Mary!

Thanks for visiting me!

I love you idea for the picky eaters for Thanksgiving!--- We all know they'll be there so we might at well plan for them :)

James and I went to college together. It's exciting to see where God has placed us all since then.

For the Thankful Thursday graphic, all you have to do is go to http://truth4thejourney.blogspot.com and grab the code from the sidebar and copy and paste it into the body of you blog.

Hope that helps!

We'll do both! We're having non-traditional on Thanksgiving Day with one side of the fam, soup and chili. Then the day after, we're having the traditional works with the other side of the fam! Best of both worlds!

We always have traditional fare. I am looking for recipes that "spice" the older ones up however. I am thinking of doing a Brie en Croute as a new appetizer, it looks so simple! Just wanna try some different things!

A. We like to deep fry our turkey. Caldwell tradition.
B. We're inviting a family that has been attending our church plant. She is an American, married to an Austrian. She's a vegetarian. Soooo, I gotta get creative this year.
C. not cooking everything... but never eating out on thanksgiving!
D. never to early to think about food :)

it's a little tricky over here since we don't get all the things that make it a REAL Thanksgiving dinner, but we make do and it works so far.
