How God Blessed Me Yesterday

Late yesterday afternoon, Bruce arrived home from work. Our to-do list was longer than the world's largest ball of twine. We had things to do outside...trim hedges, sweep and clean porches, pick up toys in the backyard....you get the idea. As we were cleaning, our neighbors and friends from down the street arrived at the house. Instead of just stopping by to talk, shoot the breeze, catch up- they started pitching in. They moved inside with us once we finished in the yard. Before they left they had helped us hang a huge mirror, stained our front door, hung the new pantry doors we had bought, fixed the canned lighting in the garaged and fixed a loose pipe under the kitchen sink. WOW!!! Now that's going the extra mile! I couldn't believe how much we got done all working together. What should have taken us until midnight was easily done by 9pm.

Maybe I should brag about the neighbors to help sell the house?!? It's just another way God is taking care of us. It is a bit overwhelming as I sit and watch God orchestrate this series of events in our lives. He is the Great Provider of all things...even great neighbors!

Gina, that is awesome! That really is a testimony, and one to who you all are to your neighbors as well. I love the picture you posted with this.
