I Survived My First Day of Preschool!

/files/Gallery/Preschool.jpg
We weighed, we measured, we photographed, we painted, we counted, we colored, we ran, we snacked, we I read, we prayed, we sang, we listened, we shared, we lined up, we worked puzzles....all in 3 hours!

It was an awesome day!

Thanks for the prayers!

Congrats, Gina! You did it!

Hey, how do you coordinate Savannah's plans with the curriculum the school is using? You may have written on it before. Just curious. : )

Kathy,

Savannah is still doing all the curriculum I had originally purchased for her. She works on it during a 2 hour block that the rest of the class is working on their reading circles, spelling, and math. She listens to the Bible lesson the teacher teaches, does her own journaling while the rest of the class works in theirs, and she takes advantage of snack, recess and corporate teacher led reading.

She will do science and history with the class because the teacher happened to be using similiar curriculum to what I had purchased....but she will do it in addition to what I had already purchased. It will just give her the opportunity to do experiments and more hands on stuff.

She's loving it...and keeping up so far! We'll see how it works for the month and September and then make a final assessment for the year.

Thanks for asking and for the encouragement. Hope your year is going well!
