It's a Beautiful Morning

Here I sit, blinds open, sippin' a diet coke, enjoying the beautiful-God-only-gets-the-credit morning in Texas. The humidity is down and there isn't any rain forcasted for today...a nice change from the last 3 weeks weather!...and did I mention...both kids are still asleep!

Here's an appropriate prayer that St. Basil prayed in the 4th century...what a good prayer to pray on this Monday morning:

"We pray in the morning to give the first stirrings of our minds to God. Before anything else, let the thought of God gladden you."
